    "Welcome to the final posting of this season by The Football Club.  The Playoff Picks have finished and the club is now closing down until early September of 2006.  And the Playoff Picks champion is...... or I should say the Playoff Picks Champions are Hunchback and Cat Man, who both finish the season with 94 Points.  It was a well deserved honor for Hunchback, who really dominated the last 6 weeks of the season (including regular and post).  Hunchback finished the regular season with 2 back to back MVP Awards and then he opened the post season with a share of the Wildcard MVP Award.  He was able to hold off late charges from Sgt. Preston of the Yukon, The Tick, Dominator, and Dylan's Dad, but not the late charge of Cat Man.  Congratulations to both players on picking very well for the Super Bowl and finishing on top of the club.  It looks like Hunchback is going to be a heavily pursued free agent in the off season, as  a lot of Pro Bowl teams will be trying to sign him to their roster for the upcoming year.  It'll be the exact opposite of what he dealt with this season, when he was dismissed from the roster of Sports Einsteins as that team was dissolved.  With Hunchback's Playoff Picks Championship, he will be joining an exclusive club that Cat Man is already a part of-- The Football Club Hall of Fame.

    For the Super Bowl picks, only one player guessed that Pittsburgh would end with exactly 21 Points-- and that was Unknown Artist.  Three Bonus Points were available for anyone who could correctly pick both teams scores within 5 points.  Sgt. Preston of the Yukon was able to do it, as he said the final score would be Pittsburgh 24 and Seattle 14.  King Creole did it as well, with a projection of Pittsburgh 26 and Seattle 13.  Dylan's Dad grabbed the two Bonus Points by picking both teams scores within 10 points-- he said the score would be Pittsburgh 31 and Seattle 17.  However, I have to end my comments this season with a thought on the Super Bowl picks posted by 2005 Rookie of the Year Award winner Panamanian Princess.  She nailed the Runner-Up MVP Award for the Super Bowl with a strong score of 22+1 Points.  Once again, she impressed all of us and showed she was more than worthy of being our Rookie of the Year.  There are rumors floating around the club that she is going to put together an all-girls Pro Bowl team for next season.  If that's true, I believe they will be a real threat for the Pro Bowl title.

    Well thanks for playing this season everyone, we had a lot of fun.  I heard that Hunchback had a great Super Bowl party which I had to miss because of being sick, but I hope to join him if he does another one next year.  As far as a year end Club Party, I'm going to be talking to The Tick and a few others to see if we can make it happen.  I've heard from Lulu that she may want to reveal who she is to the club at the Club Party.  But if we don't end up doing one this year, we will definitely do a double party next year.  I'll keep everyone posted and see you in the future, as we play The Football Club 2006-- Tenth Year Anniversary Edition."--Important Idler
