Pro Bowl X Championship Match (Week 16):

New team champions:  Victorious Secret became the 2008 Pro Bowl team champions when they held an absolute clinic
in the Pro Bowl final by crushing two-time Pro Bowl finalist Transformers by 25 Points.  Taking the easiest path in
club history to the championship, Victorious Secret merely had to beat two teams with losing records and a combined
5 wins in the Pro Bowl Weekly regular season.  And neither of the Pro Bowl Tournament matches in which Victorious
Secret played were even close, as they won this week by 25 Points as mentioned earlier, and last week by 37 Points.
Team member Shelby's Dad led the way for Victorious Secret, as he won the Week 16 MVP Award.  It's obvious that
Shelby's Dad wanted to make the most of this opportunity to become a Football Club Champion, and he almost single
handedly defeated Transformers on his own.  His strong effort was combined with great weeks by both Dark Knight
and Nighthawk, and Victorious Secret gained an easy victory in a landslide.  This is the first Pro Bowl Championship
for all three players, who only solidified their alliance midway through the Pro Bowl Weekly regular season.

What's at stake:  A spot in The Football Club Hall of Fame as the 2008 Pro Bowl Champions.
Pro Bowl Tournament history:  Before we get to the Pro Bowl final, let's take a moment and analyze what led up to
this match and see how the two teams got here.  For the underdog Transformers, they had one of the worst Pro Bowl
Weekly regular seasons in club history, as they won only two matches by beating only one team.  But they also had
one tie, and that one tie happened to come in Week 9 when they tied Victorious Secret 56-56.  Then, Transformers
arrived in the Pro Bowl Tournament and in just two weeks have matched their win total for the entire season, by
knocking off two heavily favored higher seeds.  And in one of the strangest twists that the club has ever seen,
Transformers defeated Wild Animals in the Final Four by a score of 78-74.  What makes that so strange?  Exactly two
years ago, also in the Final Four, Transformers also defeated Wild Animals by the exact same score of 78-74, thus
stunning the entire club.  It is simply amazing that history repeated itself in this way, and I don't think anybody in
the club will ever forget this shocking demonstration of lightning striking twice.  After that great victory two years
ago, Transformers advanced to the Pro Bowl final where they were blown out by 20 Points.  I'm sure that Tranformers
are planning to make a better showing in this year's Pro Bowl final.  As for Victorious Secret, they had their own share
of strange twists this season.  They started the season by setting a club record and going undefeated for their first
nine matches, with six of those being wins.  Despite this great record, the team was in turmoil and a trade was made
just before the deadline.  The trade did not work out well at first, and the team found itself slumping, as it finished the
regular season with a three game losing streak.  Because of their great start, however, they still managed to claim
the No. 2 seed in the tournament.  Because of all the upsets which have marked this Pro Bowl Tournament, Victorious
Secret has the opportunity to win the Pro Bowl title simply by beating the two teams with the worst records, the No.
5 and No. 6 seeds.  They crushed the No. 5 seed last week by 37 Points and now they are ready to face the No. 6 seed.
Will this be another blow-out, or will Transformers deliver the greatest upset in club history by winning the Pro Bowl
Tournament with a losing record and the No. 6 lowest seed?  It certainly will be interesting to find out.
