Pro Bowl XII Championship Match (Week 16):
Three Time Team Champions: Daddy & His Boys gained back their status as the greatest Pro Bowl team of all time as they defeated the top seeded Transformers 62-52 to win the 2010 Pro Bowl Championship. The deciding game in the Pro Bowl final proved to be New Orleans at Atlanta. All 3 members of Transformers had picked Atlanta, while 2 members of Daddy & His Boys had picked New Orleans (MJD Hogg and Drummer Boy). When New Orleans took home the close victory, the champagne started flowing in Daddy & His Boys' locker room. They accomplished this despite the fact that Transformers had the Week 16 MVP on their team. With this victory, Daddy & His Boys went undefeated against Tranformers this season, handing them 2 of their 4 season losses. Reaching their 3rd Pro Bowl final in the past 5 years, all the cards seemed to be stacked in the favor of Transformers winning their first team title. But they ran headfirst into a juggernaut of a team who had something to prove. Daddy & His Boys had been frustrated the past two years as Victorious Secret won back-to-back championships and basked in the limelight. Many club insiders no doubt felt that Victorious Secret had proven to be the best team of all time. Even though both Daddy & His Boys and Victorious Secret had 2 Pro Bowl Championships each, Victorious Secret had accomplished it in consecutive seasons. Not to be outdone, Daddy & His Boys came up big at the perfect time. While Transformers had the Week 16 MVP on their team, Daddy & His Boys had the Week 16 MVP Runner-Up on their team with MJD Hogg, who scored 26 Points. Hoosier Daddy & Drummer Boy each contributed 18 Points to the cause and that's why Daddy & His Boys are currently on the victory podium accepting their trophies. Daddy & His Boys are now the 2000, 2007, and 2010 Pro Bowl team Champions. That is what is known as dominance. Congratulations to Daddy & His Boys-- Team Captain Hoosier Daddy, Drummer Boy, and MJD Hogg on such an amazing achievement!

What's at stake: A spot in The Football Club Hall of Fame as the 2010 Pro Bowl Champions.
Pro Bowl Tournament history: This season's Pro Bowl Championship game promises to be an exciting battle between two of the best teams in the club. Since these two teams have never met before in the Pro Bowl Tournament, let's start by taking a look back at the tournament history of each team. Daddy & His Boys was established in the year 2000, when Hoosier Daddy (a member of the 1998 original Pro Bowl Champions Dukes of Hazzard), and Drummer Boy & Tommy Boy (both members of the 1999 team Boyzone) decided to all form a new team. The team achieved instant success as they became the 2000 Pro Bowl Champions by defeating The Princesses (an all-girl team) 68-60. Hoosier Daddy then took the next 4 years off from the club, but returned in 2005 and reformed his legendary team Daddy & His Boys with new members. However, they were eliminated in the First Round by Z Force 72-60. In 2006, Hoosier Daddy changed up his team line-up, and the result was an improvement as they reached the Final Four. But it was in 2007 that Daddy & His Boys shook up the league and established themselves permanently as one of the greatest teams in club history. That year, Hoosier Daddy brought back original member Drummer Boy and added another free agent. With original member Drummer Boy back in the line-up, Daddy & His Boys went on to become the 2007 Pro Bowl Champions and were once again on top of the world. In the Pro Bowl Final, they had a thrilling showdown with Wild Animals and beat them 61-57. Moving on to 2008, Daddy & His Boys failed to follow up their 2nd championship with tournament success and were eliminated in the First Round of the Pro Bowl Tournament. As he had in the past, Hoosier Daddy once again shook things up for the better. When 2009 came around, he added MJD Hogg, who had been on the 1998 Pro Bowl Championship team Dukes of Hazzard with him. Now the team consisted of a nucleus of champions-- Hoosier Daddy (2 team titles), Drummer Boy (2 team titles), and MJD Hogg (1 team title). The club instantly took notice and feared that a domination was coming. Daddy & His Boys reached the Final Four that season, which was good but not great. And that brings us to 2010. Now in their second year of the current line-up, Daddy & His Boys have once again reached the Pro Bowl Championship game and have a chance to win their 3rd team title.
Transformers have a completely different and unique story. They are a team in their 5th year of existence. The team was formed by former Arroz Con Leche members Bob Loblaw and The Beav. When Panamanian Princess retired after the 2005 season, Bob and Beav were looking to form a new team that would be able to get past the First Round. So, in 2006 they signed Roadrunner to a one year contract and Transfomers made a huge splash in the 2006 Pro Bowl Tournament. After beating Wild Animals 78-74 in the Final Four, Transformers advanced to the Pro Bowl Championship game, where they lost to The Supernovas 66-46. In 2007, Slick Chick joined the club, and Bob and Beav quickly added her to their team. Team chemistry struggled a bit and they failed to escape the First Round that season, being defeated by Mystery Men 110-39 in the most lopsided tournament loss in club history. But the team recovered well in 2008 as they once again defeated Wild Animals 78-74 in the Final Four and advanced for the second time into the Pro Bowl Championship game. There they suffered another tough loss, this time to Victorious Secret 62-37. In 2009, Transformers lost in the First Round to Wild Animals, who finally exacted revenge on them for the two earlier tournament losses. That brings us to 2010, where Transformers once again defeated their nemesis Wild Animals in the Final Four, this time by a score of 76-63. And now Transformers find themselves in their 3rd Pro Bowl Final in the 5 years of their history. This is by far the biggest match of their lives, as Transformers are the clear favorites being the No. 1 seed and holding a record of 8 wins and 3 losses. In comparison, Daddy & His Boys are the No. 4 seed with a record of 7 wins and 6 losses. So the statistics seem to be clearly stacked in the favor of Transformers. But here's something to consider. Transformers started out the season with a perfect record of 5-0 and they only needed one more win to reach 6 wins and 0 losses and complete a sweep of every team in the league. But, in Week 8 Transformers ran into Daddy & His Boys for the first and only time this season. Daddy & His Boys delivered a message that week by handing Transformers their first loss 70-51. And that's where we stand going into the 2010 Pro Bowl Championship match between Transformers and Daddy & His Boys. Only one team can win and raise the trophy. Next week we will finally find out who that team is.
