your team is eliminated.  Higher seed means your team has home field advantage and advances in case of a tie.
However, even though your team advances, you receive no bonus Points for the week if you tie.)

Pro Bowl VIII Championship Match (Week 16):

New team champions:  The Supernovas (Eastside Brewer, Generation J-Bird & Stop the Clocks) defeat a spirited effort by underdog team Transformers 66-46, winning the match by exactly 20 Points.  The Supernovas ended the season with an 8 game winning streak and the best season record in league history with 13 wins and only 2 losses.  If The Supernovas had been playing Final Four team Wild Animals instead, they still would have beat them by a hypothetical score of 66-64.  Yet, Transformers earned their spot in the Championship match and will be remembered for being the second best team in the league during 2006.

What's at stake:  A spot in The Football Club Hall of Fame as the 2006 Pro Bowl Champions and 1 1/2 Bonus Points.
Pro Bowl history:  These are both new teams that were formed at the beginning of the 2006 season.  This is the reason
that Generation J-Bird came out of retirement for this season, to have a shot at the Pro Bowl Championship trophy.
These teams played twice during the 2006 season.  In Week 2, The Supernovas def. Transformers 60-40 and in Week 9,
The Supernovas def. Transformers 67-45.  Both matches were won by The Supernovas by 20 or more Points.
