(The Super Bowl Tournament is a single elimination
tournament. Win and you move on, lose and
you're eliminated. Higher seed means you have
home field advantage and advance in case of a tie.
However, even though you advance, you receive no bonus
Points for the week if you tie.)
RESULTS AND COMMENTARY--
Super Bowl IX Match (Week 16):
Title defense: Eastside Brewer wins back to back Super Bowl championships as he wins Super Bowl IX by scoring a historic tie 20-20 with Double-Double. Eastside Brewer was leading by 5 Points after the Sunday games were completed. Then, Double-Double took the lead by 1 Point when Philadelphia defeated Dallas in the NBC game. Finally, Eastside Brewer tied the match for good when Miami and NY Jets scored only 23 points, giving Eastside 1 Point with the Over/Under being Under. Thus, Eastside Brewer is crowned as the champion by virtue of home field advantage and having the higher seed.
