“Bob Swerski delivers a huge 30 Points to win Week 3 MVP!”

Week 3 MVP Award Winner –
Bob Swerski (30 Points)

After the big win by the Chicago Bears last weekend, coach Ben Johnson was fired up in his postgame locker room speech.  He could be seen handing out a game ball to Caleb Williams for his 142.6 passer rating.  Next, he could be seen handing a second game ball out to Tremaine Edmunds for his two interceptions.  After the cameras were turned off, rumor has it that he also handed out a third game ball to Bob Swerski, who scored 30 Points to win the Week 3 MVP Award.  It was a huge week that Bob Swerksi badly needed, after he started this season (much like his Chicago Bears) struggling, but has now turned things around mightily.  Bob Swerksi has jumped up six spot in the standings, now sitting in 12th Place.  Let’s see if he can keep up the momentum this week.  The Week 3 MVP Award Runner-Up was My Wife Loves Jimmy G for the second time already this season.  He scored 28 Points, which has closed the First Place gap to a mere 2 Points.  A couple weeks ago, I had talked about how My Wife Loves was determined not to have a slow start to this season, and he has once again backed up his words with a strong showing.  I guess he will have bragging rights at tomorrow night’s meeting (not really, that’s just a joke).  In looking back at last week, a few players also really stood out.  Only three players managed to pick both Games of the Week correct with Chicago and SF:  Bob Swerski, Captain Insano & Drummer Boy.  Also, only one player correctly picked Detroit over Baltimore on Monday night and got the 6 Points:  Roadrunner.  As far as the current Top Five goes, it is #1 MJD Hogg (2 Weeks at #1), #2 My Wife Loves Jimmy G (2 Points back), #3 Roadrunner (10 Points back), and tied #4 Captain Insano & Mr. T (12 Points back).  There is also something called the Drummer Boy watch, which consists of keeping an eye on how he is doing every week.  Don’t look now, but he is only 3 Points away from getting back into the Top Five.
