Pro Bowl Team Champs

PRO BOWL CHAMPS OVERVIEW

Pro Bowl Champions are the winners of the yearly Pro Bowl team competitions.  The Pro Bowl regular season usually lasts for 12 weeks, with players being divided into teams of three players each.  Teams of three players will then either choose or be assigned their own unique team name.  A team score for the week is determined by adding the scores of all three players together.  The combined score of your three players will be compared against the score of another team’s three players, with whomever has the higher score winning the match.  The Pro Bowl Weekly regular season is held to determine higher seed and bye weeks within the Pro Bowl Tournament, which starts 2 weeks after the Super Bowl Tournament begins.  The Pro Bowl Tournament is generally 3 rounds long – including the First Round, Final Four, and Pro Bowl Championship match.  The last team standing at the end of the tournament is declared the Pro Bowl Team Champion for the season.  Pro Bowl competition is one of the favorite aspects of the club for many members, as it allows you to play together with your friends instead of relying only on your own picks.  In the past, some players have even used strategy to succeed as a team by aligning their picks to aim for higher scores.

As of the conclusion of the 2023 season, we have had 12 different Pro Bowl Champs over the course of 19 seasons (there was no Pro Bowl competition held in 1997 or 2001).  Wild Animals have established themselves as the greatest Pro Bowl team of all time, having now won 5 titles (as of 2023).  Just barely behind them, Daddy & His Boys have won 3 titles.  And not far behind are The Supernovas and Victorious Secret, who have each won 2 titles.  Victorious Secret is also the only team to win back-to-back Pro Bowl titles in consecutive seasons.  The best record for the entire Pro Bowl season including the Pro Bowl Tournament is 13-2, recorded by The Supernovas in 2006.  The longest winning streak by a Pro Bowl team with no losses or no ties was achieved by Wild Animals in 2005 & 2006 when they posted a mark of 11-0 over the course of an 11-game stretch in two seasons.  The highest ever team score in a single week was achieved by Wild Animals in 2012 when they combined for 112 Points.  Only one time in club history has a player won the Club Championship, Super Bowl Championship, and Pro Bowl Championship in the same season.  Known as the Triple Major, it was accomplished by Eastside Brewer (also known as The Rickster) in 2006.  Pro Bowl teams are made up of individuals who sometimes stay on the same team for years, and sometimes change teams every season.  The best Pro Bowl players of all-time are Double-Double, Hoosier Daddy, and The Rickster, who each have 4 Pro Bowl titles.  Drummer Boy and The Cat each have 3 Pro Bowl titles.  Transformers had the distinction of making three Pro Bowl Finals but losing all three of them to remain without a title, until they finally won in 2012 to break the streak.  A Pro Bowl title is one of the major titles held by club founder Tuna, as he won with The Supernovas in 2006 and 2019, and Tuna Generations in 2022.  To see our full list of Pro Bowl Champions and those who finished as Runner-Up and Final Four finishers through the years, look below.  (Note: some of our earlier records have been lost, so in some years we do not have information about final scores, Runner-Up, or the Final Four finishers other than who the Pro Bowl Champion was.)
