Week 11 MVP Award Winner –
MJD Hogg (35 Points)

MJD Hogg became the second player to win three MVP Awards this season as he scored an astounding 35 Points on a week that most other players found challenging. As a result, he won the Week 11 MVP Award and jumped the General Lee over the heads of six club members to go from 8th Place (and 21 Points back) to 2nd Place (only 2 Points back). When he landed, he told club members: “When the odds are stacked, you stand taller” and “They can chase us all day, but they’ll never catch our style”. The big question now is which will prove to be faster this week: The General Lee or The Black Pearl? The Hoggster had several key picks that led him to become this week’s MVP. First, he was 1 of only 3 club members to correctly pick Carolina with TJ (along with NYC Sewer Rat & Bob Swerski). Second, he was 1 of only 2 club members to get both Games of the Week correct with Chicago & LA Rams (along with Rad Dad). Third, he was 1 of only 2 club members to correctly pick the Triple Crown of Buf-Pit-Den (along with Mr. T). Speaking of Mr. T, he scored 25 Points to win the Week 11 MVP Award Runner Up. As a result, he moved back up into 3rd Place while saying: “To have a comeback, you have to have a setback.” He later added: “I believe in the Golden Rule – The Man with the Gold… Rules.” We will see if Mr. T can continue muscling his way up the standings to claim the ultimate gold – the Club Championship trophy. Last week, half the club (9 players in total) crashed and burned by picking Atlanta with TJ, thus taking a -2 Point penalty from their final score. One player who was not fooled was Bob Swerski, who is now an impressive 6-1 at picking Triple Jeopardy this season. That’s 10 Bonus Points that Bob has earned just by checking a box at the right time. The Top Five currently consists of Captain Jack Sparrow (4 Weeks at #1), #2 MJD Hogg (2 Points back), #3 Mr. T (9 Points back), #4 Captain Insano (12 Points back), and #5 Drummer Boy (14 Points back). On a final note, Head to Head Weekly wraps up this week with the Super Bowl Tournament beginning in Week 13.
